Schedule shows and give each one a DJ persona with its own taste in records. Below is an example day. You write your own.

§ 04 · Operating manual

What we handle so you don't have to

A1HostingStream server, scheduler and operator portal, set up and kept running. You never SSH into anything.

A6AllowanceEach plan includes a monthly AI allowance. The console shows what is left and we email you at 80%. If it runs out, the music keeps playing and the DJ goes quiet until next month.
A7KeysOnly a hash of your key is stored. Each key has a burst limit, so a leaked one can't run up a bill inside a minute.

Whose music is playing?

A.

Yours. The station plays from your own Navidrome or from the private library we host for you. You bring the files and the right to play them. We never source, share or supply music, and nobody else can play from your library.

How private is it, really?

A.

Every new station is locked with a listener password. Share it with your people and they can tune in; nobody else gets in. It is built for up to 15 friends at once, so please don't publish the link or the password.

My Navidrome lives at home behind a router. Will it work?

A.

The station fetches each track from your server, so it needs a public HTTPS address and a login you're happy to give the DJ. Behind CGNAT or a home firewall, the Navidrome guide walks you through exposing it safely. Or pick the hosted library at signup and skip all of it.

What happens when the DJ runs out of words?

A.

The music keeps playing and the DJ goes quiet until the allowance resets next month. You get an email at 80% and another when it is spent.

Q.

I already run SUB/WAVE myself. Do I need Hosted?

A.

No. Keep self-hosting, it stays complete and free. If you want a better DJ without running a model yourself, DJ Brain plugs into the station you already have for £5 a month.

And if I cancel?

A.

The station plays out the period you have paid for, then goes off air. We keep its settings, schedules, personas and hosted music for 30 days, and resubscribing brings it back as it was. After that it is deleted.
